SEE THE DIFFERENCE WITH COPRICE’S UPGRADE NUTRITION

For over 30 years, CopRice has been delivering quality nutrition to hard working dogs. Today is no different.

For working dogs and their owners, a hard day’s work isn’t optional. Whether it’s mustering stock, covering paddocks, loading livestock, or putting in long hours alongside their owner, working dogs are expected to turn up every day and get the job done.

From first light through to knock-off, those dogs need nutrition that works as hard as they do.

That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’ve upgraded our CopRice Working Dog Beef formulation. Our nutrition team reviewed the nutritional requirements of modern Australian working dogs and reformulated CopRice Working Dog Beef to better support energy demands, recovery and body condition to keep them hard at it.

We’ve targeted sustained energy throughout the working day, support and maintenance of body condition, and post-work recovery after long days on the land. The result is nutrition designed to help working dogs build, sustain and recover, so they’re ready to get back out there to give it their all day after day.

Here’s what we’ve actually changed:

• Increased protein from 25% to 28%: increased protein from high-quality animal sources to support muscle growth & tissue repair

• Increased fat from 15% to 18%: increased fat & improved sources of fat to fuel dogs’ performance

• Removed wheat & upped rice: increased rice inclusion supports optimal digestion & efficient energy as rice is a highly digestible carbohydrate source that helps provide efficient energy for working dogs

• Added supplements: added fish oil and glucosamine to support joint mobility, recovery and the long-term wellbeing of active working dogs

At CopRice, we have been providing quality nutrition for Australian animals for over 50 years, and specifically providing working dog nutrition for 30 years, so we know the ins and outs of what dietary requirements a dog needs to keep them performing at their best.

We also understand that a working dog isn’t just a cuddly companion, but an essential part of the team. Keeping them working at their peak requires the right nutrition behind them, and that’s the thinking that sits behind our upgraded formulation.

Importantly, nothing changes about our commitment to producing nutrition specifically for Australian working dogs. Every change and decision has been made with the goal of helping owners get more out of their dogs while supporting the performance outcomes that matter most on farm. We continue to support the working dog community from the ground up with quality ingredients sourced from the very land that so many working dog owners work themselves.

Alongside the upgraded nutrition, you’ll also notice a fresh new look on display. We’ve modernised and simplified our packaging design across the range to make it easier to shop in-store. We’re still distinctly CopRice – easy to identify while maintaining and honouring our core working dog identity. You won’t just notice it on Working Dog Beef, but across our full dog range offerings.

We’re so proud to introduce our upgraded CopRice Working Dog Beef recipe.
